Opening the Era of God Living with Humanity

Message on Father Moon’s monumental role in the emergence of the era of a concrete Kingdom of Heaven where humanity can live in oneness with God

Continued from part 2

Part 3 (final) of a speech on 8th September 2025 by Doo Seung-yeon (두승연), newly appointed as Director of the World Mission Headquarters of the Family Federation. The message, delivered at a meeting for leaders and members gathered in Gapyeong, South Korea, was in commemoration of Father Moon on the 13th anniversary of his holy ascension (Seonghwa). Slightly edited unofficial translation of the original Korean.

Here, in part 3, Rev. Doo’s speech elaborates points 4 and 5 introduced in part 1 – the proclamation of Cheonil-guk, and the dawn of our Heavenly Parent’s direct dominion.

Fourth, True Father proclaimed the era of the Kingdom of Heaven, in which our Heavenly Parent and humankind live together as one. From 1960 until the Cheonil-guk Foundation Day in 2013, True Father led the providence precisely according to Heavenly Parent’s blueprint through some 430 proclamations. [See editor’s note 1 below]

From the 2001 Coronation for the Kingship of God [See editor’s note 2 below] until 2012, for twelve years, True Father offered devotion, counting down day by day toward the Cheonil-guk Foundation Day. I am sure all of you remember. I, too, cannot forget seeing Father count each day.

Then, at the Foundation Day of Cheonil-guk in 2013, by Heaven’s command, True Mother officiated the Coronation of the True Parents of Heaven, Earth, and Humankind, the Enthronement Ceremony, and the proclamation of the first year of Cheonil-guk.

Following this, through the Registration Blessing [See editor’s note 3 below] of Foundation Day, all blessed families were permitted to be registered in Cheonil-guk.

Foundation Day was the first day of the substantial Cheonil-guk. It was the day our Heavenly Parent restored the royal authority to govern Cheonil-guk. It was the day when all blessed families, receiving the Blessing in the position of complete salvation, could register into the original Garden of Eden.

Do you remember 2013? Some of you clap, others simply recall.

Fifth, True Father established the foundation for the actual advent of the age under Heavenly Parent’s direct dominion.

During the 6,000 years centered on the masculine aspect, the age of God the Father began with Alpha, Jesus, and was completed by Omega, True Father. Now, the Only Begotten Daughter, True Mother, who has come as the embodiment of Heavenly Mother, has as both Alpha and Omega established the position of Heavenly Mother based on Cheonil-guk.

Thus, our Heavenly Parent, existing as both Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother, can actually live together with His/Her children in the Cheonil-guk era – the era of living in the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth.

In order to attend Heavenly Parent both on Earth and in Heaven, the environment of the Fall must be cleared away. The spirit world must be cleansed first; if it is not, the Earth cannot be cleansed. True Father said many times:

“I must go to the spirit world, otherwise it cannot be made one.”

Only by completely unifying the spirit world as one can the Earth and Heaven be united as a single world.

Reflecting on these five points, we once again give heartfelt gratitude to True Father. That is why True Father’s Seonghwa must be remembered as a day of eternal joy and celebration for Heavenly Parent and all humankind, along with the birth of Jesus.

[Editor’s note 1: The reference to “430 proclamations” points to the many formal public declarations, speeches, and messages that Rev. Sun Myung Moon (“True Father”) made from 1960 until he left this world in 2012.

In the tradition of the Family Federation, Rev. Moon’s proclamations (선포문, seonpomun) are not casual talks but official announcements that marked key providential stages. Each proclamation was understood as setting conditions in the spiritual and the physical world to advance God’s providence and lay spiritual and practical conditions for the ultimate realization of Cheonil-guk.

The number 430 has symbolic weight. Biblically, 430 years is associated with Israel’s time in Egypt (Exodus 12:40), symbolizing restoration through indemnity. In Unification teaching, 430 couples were also the number of the first large-scale Blessing in 1968, which symbolized the restoration of all humankind’s families.

So, “430 proclamations” emphasizes both quantity and providential completeness, suggesting that Rev. Moon methodically proclaimed all the necessary conditions to open the era of Cheonil-guk (the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth).]

[Editor’s note 2: The Coronation for the Kingship of God took place on 13^th January 2001 at the Cheonseong Wanglim Temple in Gapyeong, South Korea. It was led by Sun Myung Moon and Hak Ja Han – the True Parents.

In Unificationist belief, God had long been in a state of grief because humanity’s fall (starting with Adam and Eve) prevented Him/Her from reigning as the rightful King of heaven and earth. Throughout history (6,000 years in providential time), God’s sovereignty was denied because Satan had usurped humanity.

The mission of the “True Parents” (Sun Myung Moon and Hak Ja Han) was to restore humanity and creation back to God.

By 2001, Rev. Moon proclaimed that the conditions for God’s Kingship were fulfilled, making it possible to enthrone God on earth.

A formal enthronement ceremony was held. Father Moon and Mother Han offered a crown, robe, and throne to God symbolically, proclaiming Him/Her as the eternal King of Kings. Participants prayed and pledged loyalty to God as their sovereign. This was declared the first time in human history that God could take His/Her position as King on earth and in heaven.

This meant that God is no longer a suffering, grieving Parent. He/She has been enthroned as King with dignity and authority.

For humanity it means the beginning of a new providential era. We’re no longer in the “Age of the Providence of Restoration”, but the “Age of God’s Kingship”. People are from then on called to live as citizens of Cheonil-guk (the Kingdom of Heaven on earth).]

[Editor’s note 3: In the term “Registration Blessing”, registration (입적) means being officially entered into the heavenly family registry (God’s lineage), leaving behind Satan’s lineage. It’s like receiving a new “spiritual citizenship” in 천일국 (Cheonil-guk, the Land of Cosmic Peace and Unity).

Blessing (축복) in this context refers to the grace that makes this transfer possible – the ritual and divine approval that sanctify individuals and families.

The phrase “Cheonil-guk Foundation Day Registration Blessing” (천일국 기원절 입적 축복) marks a historical turning point. On Foundation Day (2013), members were given the opportunity to be “registered” into the original ideal world God intended (symbolized by Eden). It wasn’t just personal salvation – it was framed as a cosmic-level event affecting all humanity, opening the path back to God’s original ideal.]
