Our Role: God Experiencing Things Substantially

A world for God to feel, see, and love: Our amazing human role when it comes to God experiencing things substantially

Part 6 (final part) of message from Rev. Demian Dunkley, president of the Family Federation of North America, transcribed from video 2 in a series of lectures titled “Discourse on True Mother‘s Revelations”, posted on the education site of the Family Federation of the USA February 2025.

We have the universe, we have the incredible galaxies, we have the stars, we have the mountains, the rivers, the sound that the river makes, the fish, the leaves, everything. We have all of this beautiful creation in substance. But can God experience it? Can God feel it?

If the foundation for God‘s substantial being on earth hasn’t yet been established, then is God having a substantial experience? In other words, throughout the entire human history up until the point that we have True Parents that can experience things, even God himself, herself, our Parent perhaps hasn’t ever experienced in substance the things of creation that God created in substance, to feel through his children whom he created in substance to experience joy in substance on this planet of substance.

That means you have to ask yourself the question, has God ever really heard the sound that that stream in the middle of the forest makes – that high frequency trickle of water as it’s cascading around the rocks and the fallen branches in that little stream.

Has God ever heard the sound of a deer drinking water from that stream? Has God ever felt the softness of fallen pine needles beneath his bare feet as he steps lightly up to the stream? And then the deer takes its nose out of the water for a moment as if everything stops, and it looks God in the eyes. Has God himself ever been able to dip his own hands in that fresh spring water and lift up the water to his face and splash his face with cold, beautiful stream water, to drink from that water?

If we have never given God a substantial platform of godly nature that God can embody, has God ever been able to experience these things? I ask you.

Has God ever been able to look at the sunlight coming through – the dappled sunlight breaking through the canopy of leaves above, leaves of not just green? If you look closely, it’s every shade of green, every color manifest throughout the flowers and all the things that God‘s created? Has God ever seen that light reflected in that way? Has God ever smelled the aroma of those flowers?

Has God ever turned over his shoulder and seen the incredible divine beauty of a beautiful young woman? And I have to say, regarding women – as handsome as men are – God surely took it up a notch with women when it comes to beauty.

Has God ever been able to turn around to look at the divine image of God‘s feminine manifest in the locks of a woman’s hair, the way the sunlight glistens on her face, her beautiful face with the same features as the man, and yet somehow entirely different, more refined, more beautiful, more graceful, more exquisite?

And there’s a heart that that woman manifests. And what does she see when she sees the man somehow more chiseled, more impressive of strength – the muscles, the tinew – “What do you want to express?”

How handsome and how incredible – the ingenuity. That man’s already thinking of maybe building a bridge over that stream, while maybe the woman’s thinking, “Does the man notice me, how I wish to care for him, make a family together?”

If those two – beautiful man and beautiful woman – having established God’s essence, not only God’s external beauty, but his internal beauty – both of them individually beating in resonance with God‘s nature, if they come together and form that beautiful family, then God is experiencing that moment together.

God is feeling both the caress on the woman’s cheek and he’s also feeling the slightly rougher skin of his son’s hand on his cheek.

It’s the oneness of man and woman coming together and all of the things that we experience therein – eating ice cream, inventing pizza and making all kinds of pizza, an endless array of different things to create – artwork, poetry, music, architecture, and technology.

All these things were to exist in the original world. It’s all part of God’s dream to create and co-create with man and woman in purity and in love.

So much of what we’ve slowly, through human history, figured out how to do, we’ve nonetheless been doing it in a way that’s hurting one another and denying the planet, hurting the planet, hurting even members of our own family, hurting ourselves, hurting God.

And all while doing it without really having that heartbeat of God‘s pulse in our heart 24 hours a day. And we’ve been therefore blocking God from experiencing that as well.

And Mother is bringing us now to the place where all humanity can feel this and experience this. And this hasn’t happened until now. It hasn’t happened until now, as we know it didn’t work out in the past.
