“issued a statement regarding the so-called ‘Kweon Seong-dong (권성동) solicitation allegation’ being investigated by the team of Special Prosecutor Min Jung-gi (민중기), which is probing suspicions involving First Lady Kim Keon-hee (김건희).”
“I have never ordered any illegal political favors or monetary transactions.”
According to the South Korean paper, those words were part of a “Special Message from True Mother”, delivered during a worship service early on 31st August. The event was broadcast globally to leaders and members of the Family Federation. The Segye Ilbo writes that this is the first time Hak Ja Han has publicly commented on the case since the allegations were made.
Due to health problems, Hak Ja Han only delivered her personal greetings to the worship service. The full text of her message was read by a PeaceTV presenter on behalf of her.

The co-founder of the Family Federation was drawn into the current special investigation in South Korea after a former Family Federation international headquarters director named Yoon alleged that she in January 2022 was involved in handing over 100 million won in political funds to a People Power Party lawmaker. Yoon is reported to have claimed that the lawmaker “received a shopping bag filled with cash”.
The Segye Ilbo also mentions other allegations under investigation including claims that
“Han was involved in conveying luxury gifts, such as a diamond necklace and Chanel bags, to First Lady Kim Keon-hee (김건희) through fortune-teller Jeon Seong-bae (전성배) to request favors regarding church matters.”

“Beloved international leaders, peace ambassadors, and blessed families and members,
From the proclamation of the Foundation Day of Cheonil-guk (Kingdom of Heaven) to the entrance ceremony of the Cheonil Sanctum in the Cheonwon Temple, the 13-year course known only to Heaven has culminated in the era of God’s direct governance, the age of living together with our Heavenly Parent as a tangible reality, the era of the earthly sphere of life in Cheonil-guk.

This cosmic journey was a supreme moment of filial heart of devotion (효정 – hyojeong) [Editor’s note: filial heart, serving one’s parents devotedly with love and respect], in which God was fundamentally restored to the identity of the Heavenly Parent – not only as the Heavenly Father, but also by recovering the long-hidden status and value of the Heavenly Mother.Moreover, Korea, which our Heavenly Parent truly loves, has become a foundation to play an ever more central role in the unification of the Korean Peninsula and in world peace.
Yet, in the midst of this journey to settle the age of living with our Heavenly Parent as reality, false claims are being spread that, under my direction, our church provided illegal political funds.
I state clearly here: On the providential path for world peace and the development of Korea, which our Heavenly Parent loves, I have never ordered any illegal political favors or monetary transactions.
I have devoted my life to the liberation of our Heavenly Parent, the salvation of humanity, and the realization of a world of eternal peace.
I am deeply grateful for your participation, dedication, prayers, and devotion toward fulfilling our Heavenly Parent’s hope and will.
I always love you. And I hope that your efforts and sincerity will align with the ideal of Cheonil-guk – a single global family under our Heavenly Parent.
In particular, may Korea, chosen and blessed by our Heavenly Parent, live as a chosen people who attend Heavenly Parent, fulfilling the mission of being central figures for world peace, and live a life of gratitude.
